History of Le Marche

Bordered by Umbria and between eleven valleys Le Marche nestles between Mount Sibillini national park and the awe inspiring coast. Life has changed very little over the centuries people have lived off the land since 6000BC.

Through the centuries the people have continued to farm and make wine celebrating religious festivals and live their life today with not much difference from the past. Characterised by undulating countryside and peppered with quiet and untouched towns and villages.

Casa Aurelio is situated 20 minutes stroll to the medieval village of Monteleone di Fermo where you will find a local shop, bar and a trattoria serving locally produced rustic Italian cuisine.
